Goto Maki entered the idol world in 1999, when she auditioned for the 3rd generation of Morning Musume. With her extraordinary singing skills and clear voice, she became the sole addition to Morning Musume. She joined just in time for Morning Musume to release their number one single, Love Machine, which sold over a million copies. Maki immediately becomes a fan favorite and was given many solo lines in future Morning Musume singles.
While Maki was still a member of Morning Musume, she debuted as a solo artist the successful single, Ai no Bakayarou, the only HP! Project single to go #1 on the Oricon chart. Even after she graduated from Morning Musume, she maintains her solo career and produced numerous wonderful songs that demonsrtated her powerful voice. As she grew up from a cute girl to a sexy woman, her image transformed. Recently, she begins to take on a more sexy image. Just as she grew up both mentally and physically, her voice has become stronger with more power behind her notes.
As she grew up, she begins to move away from the idol route to become a serious singer. However, its not until the arrest of her brother, Goto Yuki, did she make a huge transformation. She left the company that has found her and moved to Rhythm Zone under the super company Avex. Recently, she performed at two A-nation tours with a cover ” Shy Guy” and her own song” Hear Me.”

Hi there, I am also a Gomaki fan. She really has changed a lot from her MM days. Her voice is really strong now and I wish she has a good career with Avex. Hey! Do you think she will be invited to perform with the HP project members again??
